Coach Training & Certification Requirements

Coaches are required to be certified for the level of play they coach. Additionally all coaches and assistance coaches are required to complete Safe Haven certification training.

Coach Training Events

Next classes in Tustin will be in May/June to preceed Summer and August/Sept before Fall.

The Area 11-Q Winter Coach Training series of a U12 (Dec 13 & 15) and Intermediate (Jan 7-8) class is available. Please view the Winter Coach Training flyer or visit the Area 11-Q Coach Training page for more information.

National Coach Course Attendance Policy

If you are a Coach Instructor and/or Advanced Coach with several years of experience and wish to apply for this course, see the Region 96 Policy on obtaining Regional Commissioner approval as stated in the Training Matrix for the National Coach Course.
